based on feeder school data.

- In 1995 Diamond Hill Elementary was built. It was decided that the
school was to be a feeder school for Dixie and Calhoun Falls High. There
was an understanding that when the school was built that the classes as
of 1995 K5 7 would graduate Diamond Hill and continue to Dixie High.
Starting 8 years after this agreement (2003)the graduating class would
then split and feed the respective Zoned Schools based on School Board
attendance zone policies.
- Based on Feeder school Data for Dixie High and Calhoun Falls High
compared with actual High school reported attendance this has not been
carried out.
- By averaging the attendance of the 7th grade class at Diamond
Hill 2003-2007 we can project attendance for Dixie High and Calhoun
Falls High. By adding the number of students in the 7th grade
class at Diamond Hill 2003-2007 and dividing this number by 5 and divide
that number by 2 an average of 19.5 (rounded to 19 for ease of
calculations) students per year can be projected.
- Projecting an increase of 19 students per 8th grade class
starting in 2003 and ending in 2007 would look like the following Table.
